MARGARET MARIE PRICE

Margaret Marie Price, 85 of Tazewell, VA, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 13, 2019. Born in Marion, VA, she was the daughter of the late James and Leda Moser Simons.  She was a member of the First Church of God, Riverjack and served in the Ladies Axillary at the church.  Marie enjoyed gardening and working with flowers.  She was a family oriented lady and loved life and lived it to the fullest.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Oakley Price, Sr and several of her siblings.

She will be lovingly and affectionately missed by her children: Leda Chandler and husband, Russ of Statesville, NC, Ebby Price and wife, Angie of Jacksonville, FL, Teresa Brown and husband, Terry, with whom she lived for 8 ½ years, of North Tazewell, VA, Buddy Price and wife, Rhonda of Bluefield, VA and Rodney "Peck" Price and wife, Robin of Nemours, WV; siblings: Johnny Simons of Springville, VA, Judy Simons of Ohio and Patty Simons, of TN; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-granddaughter.

A service to celebrate Marie's life will be held Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Gary Jakes and Larry Hypes officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Greg Brown, Todd Brown, Dave McFadden, Jr, Erik Price, Andrew Price, Ethan Price and Mathis Price will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Dudley Memorial from 5-7 P.M.
