MARGARET LOWE MOONEY
Margaret Lowe Mooney, 94 of The Maples, Bluefield, WV, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 7, 2015. Born in Tazewell, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Harvey George and America Virginia Asbury Lowe. She had been a homemaker and loved being with her children and enjoy the beach. Mrs. Margaret was a beloved member of Calvary Messenger Ministries and loved its church members and her pastor, the late, Rev Paul Pugh. She was a wonderful lady and was loved by all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford Washington Mooney; her son: Doug Mooney and infant sons: P D and Cecil Mooney; siblings: Ruby Ball, Edna Dingus, Jay McGuire and Robert Bud Lowe.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Roger Mooney of Bluefield, WV, Jerry Joe Mooney of Bluefield, VA, Peggy Asbury of Princeton, WV and Gayle Nicewonder and husband, Tim of Bluefield, WV; brother: Roy Lowe; sisters: Jodie Asbury, Sue McCoy and Shirley Pender; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; good friends: Kevin and Rhoda Roberts.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Dudley Memorial Chapel with family friend, Pastor and Evangelist Dreama Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service.
