MABEL LEONA NASH
Mabel Leona Nash, 90 of Bluefield, VA, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, January 21, 2016. Born in Bluefield, VA, she was the daughter of the late Luther R and Lettie Marie Repass Durham. She was a member of Bailey United Methodist Church. Mrs. Nash was a lady of Faith and Family. She loved her church and she loved her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian Fred Nash; sisters: Frances Ann Gilliam and Mary Ellen "Sally" Hall; brothers: Orrin and Tom Ed Durham.
She will be lovingly and affectionately missed by her children: Sheri Little and husband, Paul of Gratton, VA, Eve Shrader and husband, Joe of Bluefield, VA, Mark Nash and wife, Brenda of Bluefield, VA and her special baby boy, Keith "Bobby" Nash of Bluefield, VA; sister: Ruth Davis of Bluefield, VA; brother-in-law: Orrin Hall and wife, Barbara of Bluefield, VA; grandchildren: Stacy, Mike, Steve and Timmy Pugh, Adam Shrader and wife, Heather, Chris Shrader and wife, Jessica, Kimberly Butterfield and husband, Jeremy, Craig Nash and wife, Angie, Ben Nash and wife, Marsha; 13 great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Mrs. Nash's life will be Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Rev Steve Aker and Roger Mullins officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memory Gardens with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Dudley Memorial from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Bailey United Methodist Church, 1420 Bailey Switch Road, Bluefield, VA 24605.
