LONNIE GENE STOUT

Lonnie Gene Stout, 85, of North Tazewell, VA, went home to be with the lord Wednesday, August 17, 2022.  Born in McComas, WV, he was the son of the late George Washington Stout and Virginia Ardelia Stevens Stout.  He had worked for US Steel as a coal miner, he enjoyed fishing and the various aspects of farm life.  Lonnie was a member of Open Door Community Church, Baptist Valley, VA.  He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Donna Fay King Stout; siblings: Arthur Paul Stout, Lillian Frances Stout Harris, Maxine Stout Curnette, Roxie Ann Stout Ramsey and his twin brother, Bobby Lee Stout.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter: Frances Stout Nipper and her husband, David of Van, WV; granddaughter: Mollee Nipper of Van, WV; special caregiver: Gene Mosley of Tazewell, VA; special friends: Irene Duval and Gary Mitchell; special niece: Crystal Williams; an extended family of other nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service to celebrate Lonnie's life will be held Monday, August 22, 2022 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Charlie McGlothlin officiating.  Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Randy McClanahan, Ermal Blevins, Michael Phipps, Danny Stinson, Cade Mullins and Frankie Harrison.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Dudley Memorial from 3:00 P.M until 5:00 P.M.
