Linda Kay Ruble

Linda Kay Ruble, age 74, of Bluefield, WV passed away peacefully Monday, December 16, 2024, at Glenwood Healthcare Center in Princeton, WV.  Linda was born August 14, 1950, in Bluefield, WV and preceded in death by her husband Edgar "Butch" Ruble, Jr., grandson Nikolas Ruble and parents George and Ina Reynolds of Falls Mills, VA.  She is survived by her son Derrick Ruble of Asheville, NC; daughter Heather Dawson and husband Shannon of Radford, VA; son Ryan Ruble of the home; brother John Reynolds and wife Sandy of Falls Mills, VA; granddaughters Meadow and Summer of Asheville, NC; bonus grandson Chance Dawson of Bluefield, VA; sisters-in-law Rita Bennett and Helen Ruble of Bluefield, VA; brother-in-law Stephen Ruble of Springhill, FL; her fur-baby Zoey; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Linda was a graduate of Graham High School and retired from the Bluefield State College Bookstore.  She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and most of all being with her two granddaughters.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield, VA with funeral services at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA.  Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
