Linda Grey Kinder Johnson, 78, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born February 12, 1945, in Tazewell County, Virginia to the late Edgar Earnest Kinder and Pearl Mae Patton Kinder.

Linda was a devoted wife and mother. Her love for her family was unmatched. She devoted her life to raising her four children while being a strong support to her loving husband. She will be missed by her family greatly. Their comfort is knowing she is now with the Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Johnson; children: Sherry Linkous and special friend Brad Pilvelis, Mark Johnson and wife Shannon, Michael Johnson, Kerri Gamble; son-in-law, Jeremy Gamble; grandchildren: Christina Inscore and husband Zack Blessing, Nathan Linkous and wife Coral, Eric Inscore, Elizabeth Johnson and husband Sean, Kenny Johnson, Haley Johnson, Sydney Gamble, Athena Deutsch, Matthew Deutsch; great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Brayden, Skylar, Sophia, Julianne, James, Emmett, Lincoln, Terra, and Lilly; siblings: Eugene Kinder and wife Imogene; Leroy Kinder, Hilda Puckett and husband Alan; sister-in-law, Linda Kinder; and special friends: Thomas Asbury, Donielle Johnson, Eileen Johnson, and Katie Brandt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Kinder.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Dudley Memorial Mortuary. 729 Virginia Avenue, Bluefield, VA 24605. The burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens, 38659 Governor G. C. Peery Hwy., Bluefield, VA.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
