LARRY JUNIOR GREEN

Larry Junior Green, 69 of Rocky Mount, VA and formerly of Bluefield, WV, passed away Sunday, June 08, 2025 at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital in Rocky Mount, VA.  Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Green and Estelle Louise King Green.  Larry had worked at Friendship Manor in the laundry department.  He was passionate about his family and took great pride in providing for their needs.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children: Lisa Brookman, Jeneva Green and Larry Lee Green; his siblings: Patsy Miller, Tommy Edward Green, Jeffery Scott Green and John Wayne Green.

He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 48 years, Mable Sharon Lawson Green; his son: Joseph Wayne Green of Roanoke, VA; his siblings: Jackie Williams and husband, Robert of Salem, VA, Brenda Taylor and husband, Larry of Dublin, VA, Rachel Knott and husband, Sam of Bluefield, WV, Debbie Carver of Bluefield, WV, Mary Honaker of Bluefield, WV, Alice Umberger of Bluefield,, WV, Robert Green and wife, Jennifer of Bluefield, WV, Pam Green of Richlands, VA, Rosezeta Green of Tazewell, VA and Melissa Hager and husband, Kenny of Bluefield, WV.

A service to celebrate Larry's life will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Robert Kinder officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Dudley Memorial from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.
