Larry G. Dye of Bluefield, Virginia passed away at his home on Monday, March 23, 2026 with his loving wife by his side, following a short illness.

Larry was an avid hunter and fisherman as long as his health allowed. He also enjoyed attending Falls Mills United Methodist Church and baked many cakes for the church bazaars. Larry worked 35 years at Pemco providing for his family, until he retired due to illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Warner G. Dye and Betty Johnson-Dye, and his sister Diana D. Brown.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Elaine Dye. His only son, Robert Dye, his wife Lyndsey Dye, and grandson, Ryker Dye. His only granddaughter Lindsey McGahen and husband Timothy McGahen, all of Bluefield, Virginia.

In accordance with Larry's wishes the family will not be holding a viewing. However there will be funeral services held in the mausoleum at Grandview Cemetery on Monday, March 30,2026 at 2pm with Reverend Mark Asbury officiating.
