KIMBERLY WALKER MILLER

Kimberly Walker Miller, 47, of Bluefield Virginia embarked on her heavenly journey on April 6th after fighting a tough battle against cancer. She was surrounded by her loving husband and daughter as she peacefully passed.

Kimberly was born on March 24 th , 1974 to John Dwight Walker and Linda Susan Whitlow in Antioch, California. She received her degree in Accounting at Bluefield College.

Kimberly started her career of 24 years with Venco Business Solutions and continued until her death. Her employment experience was incredibly gratifying and considered them as family.

Kimberly and her husband, Rudy, were college sweethearts. After reconnecting nearly 10 years ago, they married on August 30 th , 2014.

Kimberly coached at Cheer Xpress, an All-star Cheer program established by Kimberly and her daughter, Lauren-Ashleigh, which had a huge influence on athletes in the area. She was in business with her husband at Rudy's. She volunteered at Historic Pocahontas Inc., a nonprofit organization in Pocahontas, for the last 6 years.

Kimberly is predeceased by her grandparents, Dwight Delbert "Whitey" Walker and Orabelle "Billie" Mollenhour; Jane and Charles "Chuck" Chapman.

She is survived by her parents John Dwight Walker and Linda Susan Whitlow, husband William "Rudy" Miller; her daughter, Lauren-Ashleigh Christian; sister, Emily Hudson and nieces Rebecca Valenzuela and Rachel Hudson; in-laws Paul and Sue Miller; her sister in-law and nephew, Heather Miller and Derrick Modad, numerous loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Kimberly lived life to its fullest. Her motto was, "to excel you have to be willing to go beyond your comfort zone."

Kimberly's smile and enthusiasm will be missed by so many.

A service to celebrate Kim's life will be held Thursday April 15 th

2021 at 2:00 PM at Dudley Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family Wednesday April 14 th 2021 from 5:00-7:00 pm.
