KENNETH RAY SCARBERRY

Kenneth (Kenny) Ray Scarberry 70, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at his home. Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of Lorraine Scarberry Hamlin of Princeton, WV. He loved playing basketball and cards and shooting pool and he enjoyed watching WV football. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, who raised him, Lillian Scarberry, and sisters: Linda Bailey, Jennie Clark and Edith Ruiz.

He is survived by his biological mother: Lorraine Hamlin; daughters: Kelly Ubl and Casie Swiger of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Heidi Elliott of Fernandina Beach, FL ; brother: David Scarberry and wife, Rita of Virginia Beach, VA; sisters: Pat Michael of Louisa, VA, Connie Bradley and husband, Jr. of Tazewell, VA, Barbara Sarver of Wytheville, VA and Joann Dillon of Princeton, WV. A special cousin who was like a brother Jimmy Scarberry and wife Edna of Bluefield VA and his other half Debbie Lewis of Bluefield WV and several grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Kenny's life will be held Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Daniel Bradley officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at Dudley Memorial from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
