KENNETH MICHAEL "MIKE" COLE
Kenneth Michael "Mike" Cole, 67 of Bluefield, VA, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his home. Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Dennis W. and Elizabeth J. Chizmar Cole. He had been a self-employed contractor for UPS. Mike was an avid, active member of the Tri-Angle Gun Club for over 40 years and had served on its Board of Directors. He was also a member of the Lutheran Church in Bluefield, WV. To Mike, family was his life. He was a devoted, wonderful husband, brother, uncle and friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Cole Morris.
He will be lovingly and affectionately missed by his wife of over 36 years: Donna Martin Cole of Bluefield, VA; his brother: Dennis R. Cole and wife Rachel, of Princeton, WV and Michael's beloved niece, Sarah Cole; sisters-in-law: Terry Mitchem and husband, Ray of Bluefield, WV and Jackie Stoklosa and husband, Ron of WY; brother-in-law: Steve Martin and wife, Christy of Apex, NC nephews: Martin Stoklosa, Michael Stoklosa both of Cheyenne, WY and Nicholas Morris of Jacksonville, FL; a special niece, who was the daughter he never had: Lisa Hiles and husband, Butch and their children, Logan, Jack and Cole all of Charleston, WV.
A service to celebrate Mike's life will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Butch Hiles, Logan Mills, Ray Mitchem, George Martin, David Allen, Steve Martin, Jack Hiles and Cole Hiles will serve as pallbearers. Darell Rolen will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest that you make donations to the charity of your choice in Mike's memory.
