KAREN KAY HODOCK

Karen Kay Hodock, 59 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Saturday, March 02, 2024 at her home.  Born in Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of Shirley Temple Davidson Jackson of Bluefield, VA and the late Samuel Joseph Jackson, Sr.  As a child, Karen had attended Wright's Valley Methodist Church with her family and later in life she attended Bailey Switch Methodist Church. She loved listening to music, especially "Broken Treaty Band".  Karen was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and would ride to Burkes Garden and Bland County to enjoy an Amish lunch and buy produce. She was a passionate animal lover.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish Karen's memory are her inseparable companion and husband of 14 years: Kerry Farmer of Bluefield, VA; son: John Mark Hodock of Bluefield. VA; brother: Samuel Jackson, Jr of Bluefield, WV; aunt: Virginia Davidson of Bluefield, WV;

In keeping with Karen's wishes, she will be cremated. There will be no public viewing or service at this time.  A service to celebrate Karen's life will be planned and announced at a later date.
