JUSTINE MARIE WALLACE THOMPSON

Justine Marie Wallace Thompson, 95 of Bluefield, WV, went to be with her Lord on Friday, October 28, 2022.  Born in Yards, VA, she was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Ora Etna Caldwell Wallace. Justine loved the Lord and was the oldest member of the Falls Mills Christian Church. She was also the last surviving member of her immediate family.  Justine and her husband, Ellwood, could be found doing everything together, whether cooking and canning or antique shopping.  She loved to travel. She was a classy looking lady who enjoyed having her hair done and being dressed to the nines. People often commented that Justine and Ellwood were the best dressed couple around.  She was affectionately known as "Mother" to many.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: an infant brother, George Wallace, Cecil Wallace, Garnet Wallace, Garland Wallace, Burnard Wallace, Billy Wallace, Margaret Buckland and Betty Mattera.

She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 17 years:  Ellwood Thompson of Bluefield, WV and his daughters: Casandra Bennett and husband, Noah Rey of Summerville, SC, Frances Hall of Hershey, PA and Sareda Thompson of CA and their children and grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Justine's life will be held at Dudley Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with Minister Tony Reed officiating.  Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at Dudley Memorial from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
