JULIA MARIE STROUPE

Julia Marie Stroupe, 81 of Bluefield, WV, passed away Thursday, November 07, 2019 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born in Wilcoe, WV and was the daughter of the late John Quincy and Julia Marie Mercs Adams.   She was a proud homemaker who enjoyed working on her house and in her yard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude E. Stroupe, Jr; daughters: Selena Gap Stroupe and Amanda Gail Stroupe.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter: Robin Marie Gibson and husband, Richard Lee Gibson of Bluefield, WV; two grandsons that she loved dearly: Kyle Evan Gibson and wife, Courtney of Colonial Heights, VA and Bradley Ryan Gibson and wife, Laken of Bluefield, WV.

Julia was laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park at a private family service on Monday, November 11, 2019.

Julia loved all her cats dearly and each was a comfort and companion to her as she aged, therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: 2 ^nd Chance for Cats in Julia's memory.
