JUDITH RAE MCQUEEN HALE

Judith Rae McQueen Hale, 76 of Bluefield, VA, left the arms of her husband and family to be with the Lord on Friday, July 31, 2020, following a long battle with cancer.  Judy was born in Bluefield, WV to Frank and Wanda McQueen, who preceded her in death.  She was married to Ronald Hale in 1961 and soon became the mother of three daughters.  Always active in her church, Judy was a pillar of faith, encouraging those around her with her quiet strength and her humble and light spirit.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years: Ronald Hale; her daughters and their spouses, whom she called her sons: Rhonda and Buddy Price, Jeri Lynn and Dusty Anderson and Amy and Randy Mason; her granddaughters: Tabi Price, Rachel Price, Emily and husband, Ben Jessee and Melanie Anderson; her step-granddaughter: Rhenda Harris; her sister: Lynda Prescott and family.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, August 3, 2020 at East River Church at 1:00 P.M. with a  service to celebrate her life at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Tim Boyd officiating.  Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Larry Compton, Daniel Dillion, DeWayne King, Ryan Miller, Chris Pierce and Lynn Sesco.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dock Jeffers, Henry Leedy and Tommy Lively.

In lieu of flowers, Judy requested that donations be made to the following: St. Jude's Children's Hospital, The American Cancer Society or East River Church.
