JOSEPH (JOE) WILSON CUNDIFF
Joseph (Joe) Wilson Cundiff, 72 of Bluefield, WV, died Friday, May 13, 2016 at Princeton Community Hospital. He was born on April 19, 1944 in Carswell Hollow, WV to the late Margaret Authur Cundiff and Thomas O. Cundiff. Joe was the fourth born of eight children. Joe was a US Army Veteran. He worked for Norfolk and Southern for 10 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth R and James A Cundiff.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 26 years, Carol Hayes Cundiff; his sisters: Martha J Leedy and husband, Jonce, Alice Ledford and husband, Bill; brothers: John T Cundiff, Harry L Cundiff and wife, Judy, Michael E Cundiff and wife, Karen; two special nieces who loved him: Margaret and Angela as well as many other nieces and nephews. Joe also had two children: Katrina Wills and husband, Jody, Sherri Trenar and husband, Charlie; 5 grandchildren: Hannah, Marie and Christian Trenar, Justin Will and J.W. Wills and wife, Sabrina.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Falls Mills Christian Church with Joe's brother, Harry Cundiff officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. In keeping with his wishes, his body will be cremated.
