JONCE EDWARD LEEDY

Jonce Edward Leedy of Falls Mills, VA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 10th, 2022, following a short Illness at Tazewell Community Hospital.  Mr. Leedy was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Sarah Louise, Brothers Harold "Skee", Joseph, James, And Dexter Leedy.

Left to cherish his memory is his Loving Wife of 62 years, Martha; Daughter, Margaret Louise Leedy-Farley and her husband Richard; Daughter, Angela Ruth Leedy-Hall and her husband Tracy and son Gabe; and his son Jonce II with his wife Krystal and daughter Alexis and son Andrew. Mr. Leedy's sister, Patricia and his brother Tom with his wife Drema and many nieces and nephews, along with his wife's family, all whom he dearly loved.

Jonce worked for GTE for 33 years as a lineman, instructor, and management positions.  He was also a master in numerous trades and used those skills to provide help to anyone in need, whether at his church, Christian Acres camp, those in his church, or numerous widows whom he often took care of. Jonce was also a member of Falls Mills Christian Church where he served as Elder for many years.

The accolades, accomplishments, those he loved, and those who loved him are too numerous to list here.

A Memorial service to celebrate Jonce's life will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Falls Mills Christian Church with Ministers Ron Tabor, Frank Horn and Rick Mathena officiating.
