JOHNNY DALE PUCKETT

Johnny Dale Puckett, 75 of North Tazewell, VA, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA.  Born in Tazewell County, VA, he was the son of the late John Reece Puckett and Margaret Virginia Shrader Puckett.  Johnny enjoyed hunting and was a truck driver for over 45 years.  He had served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam and was an aircraft mechanic.

Those who will mourn his passing are his wife of 30 years: Anita Diane Smith Puckett; son: John D. Puckett of N. Tazewell, VA; step-son: Michael Lee Smith and wife. Kandi of Bailey-Switch; siblings: Ted Alan Puckett and wife, Hilda of Tip Top, VA, Bobby Puckett of Tip Top, VA, Linda Pettry of Chesapeake, VA, Sue Puckett of Suffolk, VA and Betty Brinkley of Florida; grandson: Eathan Michael Smith.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
