JOAN DIANE BROOKS ROWE

Joan Diane Brooks Rowe, 68 of Bluefield, WV, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 29, 2022 with her children by her side.  Born in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Paul Edward Brooks and Laura Elizabeth Austin Looney.  Joan had spent many years in the health care field, taking care of others.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mom: Betty Brooks; her step-father, who raised her: Everett Looney; her siblings: Michelle Crotty and Wayne Brooks.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Radonna Freeman and husband, Jonathan of Rocky Gap, VA, Kevin Wiley of Bluefield, WV and Chris Scott and wife, Tina of Trinity, NC; her siblings: Clay Brooks and wife, Margaret of Bastian, VA, Larry Looney and wife, Tina of Dayton, OH, Bonnie Lambert and husband, Danny of Bluefield, WV and Brenda Gabriel and husband, Rick of Dayton, OH; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

We will gather in a service to remember Joan on Sunday, October 02, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial with Pastor Rudy Robinson officiating.  Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
