JOAN HARMON FRENCH BILLINGS

Joan Harmon French Billings, 84 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenville, TN, she was the daughter of the late James Isaac Harmon and Virginia Beatrice Lowery Harmon. She loved Bluegrass music and quilting. She was a member of the Bailey United Methodist Church and attended Tip Top Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: Ralph Gerald French; brother: Isaac Harmon.

She will be lovingly and affectionately missed by her husband: Junior Billings of Bluefield, VA; son: Michael French and wife, Sally of Bluefield, WV; step-daughters: Natasha Smith and husband, Kenny of Peterstown, WV and Donna Billings of Bluefield, WV; sisters: Virginia Eleanor Paunovich, Nancy Carolyn Tate and Barbara Hart and husband, Austin; half-sisters: Rhonda, Marie and Debbie; grandson: Hunter Michael French of Bluefield, WV; niece: Palmer Paunovich; numerous extended family members.

A service to celebrate Joan's life will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Dudley Memorial from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service.
