JERRY LEE PATRICK
Jerry Lee Patrick, 68, an entrepreneur, loving father and grandfather, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 surrounded by his family. The son of the late Willard and Helen Patrick, Jerry attended Graham High School, Lee College and Bluefield State College. In 1967, he married his high school sweetheart, Ann (Mullarney) Patrick. Jerry owned and operated several grocery stores in the Bluefield area, including Jerry's Bestway and TNT. In 1984, Jerry and Ann moved with their family to Florida and launched Bestway Mortgage in Daytona Beach, Florida. Jerry will be remembered for his lively sense of humor and devotion to his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of almost 40 years, Ann Patrick and his sister, Wanda Sasser. Jerry is survived by his three children: Jerry Lee (Chip) and Sharon Patrick II, Angela and Robby Waddell and Stephen and Kelly Patrick; 8 grandchildren: Madison and Jerry Lee (Trey) Patrick III; Katie, Hannah, Rebekah and Madeline Waddell; Ella and Annie Patrick. Jerry is also survived by his siblings: Barbara Payne, Judy Harris, Rita Sutley and Danny Patrick.
Funeral services for Jerry will be held Friday, August 19, 2016at 11:00 A.M. at the Bluefield, VA Church of God, Highland Avenue. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. After the service, the family will receive friends at the home of Randle Grant, 730 Heatherwood Road, Bluefield, WV.
