JERRY N. ELLISON

Jerry N. Ellison, 79 of Rocky Gap, VA, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Bland Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born in Bluefield, VA, he was the son of the late Waitman and Geneva Hurst Ellison. Jerry enjoyed fishing and liked to watch TV, especially old westerns and wrestling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Don Ellison and his maternal grandparents, who raised him, John and Elizabeth Hurst.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister: Judy Smith and husband, Ron of Rocky Gap, VA; his brother: Kermit "Tom" Ellison of Bluefield, WV; his children: Jerry Ellison, Jr of Bluefield, VA and Donna Sue Tibbs of Bluefield, VA and their mother, Juanita Sue Brooks; grandchildren: Amanda Tibbs and Emily Tibbs.

A graveside service in Jerry's honor will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel.   There will be no public visitation. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the Mausoleum Chapel Wednesday morning by 10:45 A.M.
