JERRY WAYNE BEAVERS

Jerry Wayne Beavers, 72 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Saturday, May 07, 2022.  Born in War, WV, he was the son of the late Harold and Lucille Phillips Beavers.  He was a graduate of Graham High School and Southwest Virginia Community College.  Jerry was a member of the Elks Lodge and was an avid golfer and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was a member of Bland Street United Methodist Church.  He was employed by Simmons-Rand in Claypool Hill, VA and later retired from Frontier Communications. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Harold Edward Beavers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of fifty Years: Diane Freeman Beavers; his sons: Bryan Beavers and wife, Wendy of Bluefield, VA and Matthew Beavers of Bluefield, WV; his mother-in-law: Imogene Freeman.

In keeping with his wishes, Jerry's body will be cremated.  There will be no public services.

In lieu of flowers, to honor Jerry's memory, it is the family's request that donations be made to: Bland Street United Methodist Church, 2620 Bland Road, Bluefield, WV  24701.
