JEAN LAMBERT LUSK

Jean Lambert Lusk, 89 of Bluefield Tazewell Road, VA, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 21, 2019. Born in Tazewell County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Peery and Eunice Lambert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Garney Lusk; grandson: Coy Travis Wooldridge; sister: Naomi Asbury; brothers: James Lambert, Buddy Lambert and Ronald (Jake) Lambert. Jean was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Jean enjoyed being at home and the simple pleasures in life, such as, sitting on her front porch, visiting with family and friends and listening to classic country music. Her home was always open to anyone who would stop by and it was often referred to as "Jean's Corner".

She will be lovingly and affectionately missed by her children: Larry Lusk (Leigh) of Abingdon, VA, Michael Lusk (Jan) of Marietta, GA, Rhonda Hagy (Donnie) of Bluefield, VA, Eunice Sarver (Pete) of Bluefield, WV; special niece, who was just like a daughter Susie Musick (R.J.) of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren: Kristen Griffith (Jeff) Holly Hawkins, Beth Gilmer, Kelly Norton (Ross), Leigh Ann Wright (Brent) Brittany Breland (Xavier), Josh Wooldridge (Brittany), Kayla Holbrook (Brian) and Joey Nipper (Angel); great-grandchildren: Olivia, Jillian and Evan Griffith, Brady Hawkins, Lindleigh and Luke Norton, Jayla, Malachi and Ava Breland, Aubrey and Ridleigh Wooldridge, Landon and Gavin Holbrook, Constance, McKenzie and Patience Nipper; special caregiver: Rosemary.

A service to celebrate Jean's life will be held Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jimmy Hagy officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Dudley Memorial from 6-8 P.M.
