JANICE WANDA GREENE

Janice Wanda Greene, 79 of Bluefield, VA, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.  Born in Moundsville, WV, she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Edith Louise Freeman Day.  When her health permitted, she attended the Bluefield Pentecostal Holiness Church.  She enjoyed playing BINGO at Mountaineer Lifeline and PRF. Janice was a loving mother and grandmother.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Greene; her sisters: Charlotte Richardson and Tamara Sharpe; granddaughters: Emilie Grace Christian and Kaila Christian.

She will be lovingly missed by her children: Gordon Greene of Bluefield, VA, Timothy Greene and fiancé, Deborah Carver of Bluefield, WV, Brenda Mullens and husband, Randy of Union Hall, VA and Robin Christian and husband, Roger of Statesville, NC; siblings: David Day of WV and Geri Lewandowski and husband, Paul of Indiana; grandchildren: JR Greene, Sissy Greene, Brandon Mullens, Tim-Tim Greene (Krissie), Derek Mullens and wife, Danielle and Joshua Christian; great-grandchildren: Alexis Greene, Harleigh Greene, Axel Greene, Cooper Gaubtz, Callie Mullens, Conner Mullens, Zora Wolford and one expected in June; fur-baby: Gidget.

A service to celebrate Janice's life will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at Dudely Memorial Chapel with Minister Eddie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday morning at Dudley Memorial from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service.
