JANE ELIZABETH COX PEERY

Jane Elizabeth Cox Peery, 75 of Bluefield, VA, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, June 26, 2023.  Born in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Gladys Yost Cox.  She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church for most of her life and served in various ministries of the church.  She enjoyed sewing and fishing.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be truly missed.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: James Cox, Jr and daughter: Jolena Peery.

She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 58 years: John Peery; her daughters: Jennifer Booth and husband, Tim of Bluefield, VA and Stacy Alderman and husband, Sonny of Advance, NC; sister: Judy Collins and husband, B.H. of Mt. Carmel, TN; grandchildren: Jeremy Booth and wife, Barbara, Tylar Booth and Madison Booth; 3 great-grandchildren; special niece: Tammy Gibson and special nephew: Eddie Cox both of Roanoke, VA.

A service to celebrate Jane's life will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Memorial Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor William Lykins officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at the church from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
