JAMES DONALD WHITE, JR

James Donald White, Jr, 40 of Bluefield, WV, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 26, 2022.  Born in Havre de Grace, MD and was the son of James Donald White, Sr and Bessie Ann Lawson White of Bluefield, WV.  James was of the Baptist faith. He loved living in the mountains of West Virginia, enjoying hunting and fishing and being in the outdoors. He had a good work ethic and really enjoyed working for AMCOR in Wytheville, VA. James loved his daughter and enjoyed driving around on the back roads exploring new places with his fiancé. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Geneva Sparks White and his paternal grandfather: James William White and his wife, Alice Boothe White; maternal grandparents: Peril and Thelma Boone Lawson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents: James Donald White, Sr and   Bessie Ann Lawson of Bluefield, WV; sister: Stephanie White of Bluefield, WV; daughter: Amelia "Millie" White of MD; fiancé: Tabitha Ayers of Bluefield, WV; aunts: Brenda Johnson, Deb Rivas and husband, Chabel, Theresa Hartman all of Havre de Grace, MD and Mae Hysell and husband, Ray of Aberdeen, MD; a host of cousins.

A service to celebrate James' life will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Michael York officiating.  Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.  Lloyd Bowman, Dennis Belcher, John Tibbs and Tom Sparks will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at Dudley Memorial from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
