JACKSON P. WALLACE

Jackson P. Wallace, 85, of Bluefield, VA, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Mercer Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born in Springville, VA, he was the son of the late Arch Wiley and Thelma Elizabeth Hammond Wallace. He was a member of the Valley View Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he served as an Elder. He enjoyed water skiing and fishing. He had retired as Plant Manager from Stearns Foster & Sealy in Conyers, GA. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister and 3 brothers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 66 years, Mary Earnestine McMeans Wallace; daughters: Linda Micko and husband, Robert of Goose Creek, SC and Wanda Kidd and husband, Bill of Pulaski, VA; grandsons: Kyle Micko and wife, Pam, Timothy Kidd and Matthew Kidd and wife, Crystal; great-grandson: Max Micko; niece and caregiver: Donna Waller.

A service to celebrate Jackson's life will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Elder Phillip Wright and Pastor James Volphe officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, with nephews and friends serving as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.
