IMOGENE ELIZABETH KABAI

Imogene Elizabeth Kabai, 93 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her home. Born in Bluefield, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ava Walker Belcher.  She was a 1942 graduate of Graham High School.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  Imogene was one of the founding members of the Senior Friends group at St. Lukes Hospital, working in the hospital gift shop also. She had also volunteered at The Maples for 14 years. She loved cooking and being a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband: John Kabai, Jr; siblings: Henry, Harless, Sam and Fred Belcher and   Thelma Gold.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son: Randell Kabai of the home; numerous nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Imogene's life will be held Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.  Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday at Dudley Memorial from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
