HOWARD T "MOOSE" LOVELL
Howard T. "Moose" Lovell, 75 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016. Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late William (Bill) and Lucille "Johnnie" Harrison Lovell. Moose was a member of the Bluefield Virginia Church of God. He had been a school bus driver for many years and had also driven for several other companies. He loved animals, especially his dogs. He was a charter member of the Bluefield VA Rescue Squad and a member of the Graham Boosters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Vance Lovell; sisters: Brenda (Sue) Fox and Patricia (Patty) Burns; brother: Michael (Butch) Starling; step-children: Carolyn (Lea) Vance and Mark (Micky) Vance.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter: Dreama Lawson and husband, Donald of Bluefield, VA; sisters: Janet Vance and husband, Ray of Bluefield, VA and Linda Little and husband, Dick of Hanover, PA; brother: Bill Lovell and wife, Alice of Glenville, PA; step-children: Billy Vance, Mae Brooks, Brenda Lewis and Tommy Vance; grandchildren: Ronnie Allen, Amy Hanshaw and Laura Lawson; great-grandchildren: Donovan, Desmond and Ameia Lawson and Memorie Hanshaw.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Dudley Memorial from 1:00- 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tony Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the Earls Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
