HENRY ALVIN TABOR

Henry Alvin Tabor, 81 of Mebane, NC and formerly of Abbs Valley, VA, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the home of his son. Born in Boissevain, VA, he was the son of the late Joseph Edmonds and Norma Ethel Blankenship Tabor.

He will be loving missed by his family.  Wife of 59 years, Norma J Tabor.  Children, Larry Tabor (Mandy), Constance Tabor, Brother, William E. Tabor (Zenith) and   Grandchildren, Reverend Caleb Tabor, Bailey Spear and Elijah Tabor.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his siblings, Jackie Tabor, Reverend Calvin Tabor, and Patricia Hall.

Alvin was a dedicated family man, a retired Coal Miner, he served in the United States Army, and he was a man who never met a stranger.  His home was always open.  If you needed a hearty laugh, words of wisdom, a hug, or a cup of coffee, just stop by.

A service to celebrate Alvin's life will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with his grandson, Reverend Caleb Tabor officiating.  Interment will take place at Grandview Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family Friday, July 23, 2021 at Dudley Memorial from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
