HENRY LEE SMITH

Henry Lee Smith, 70 of Bluefield, VA, passed away at home, Saturday, May 18, 2019. Lee is the son of the late Harvey and Mary Alice Smith. He grew up on their farm near Falls Mills, VA. He worked as a professional carpenter most of his life and served the community with his business, "Lee's Repair and Remodeling." He enjoyed hunting, fishing and horseback riding. His wife, Anita Hinkle Smith, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, Shannon, his daughter, Kristie Prunest and husband, Brian; sister in law: Pam Nuchols and husband, Dwayne; grandchildren: Aaron Gauze, Ciara Gauze, Haydan Prunest and Madison Leigh Eberhart. He is also survived by his friend and brother in life, Ernie Fisher and wife, Alice and their daughter, Jessica.

A memorial service to celebrate Lee's life will be held Friday, May 24, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Rev. Donnie Bailey officiating. Friends may visit with his family on Friday at Dudley Memorial from 5:00 P.M. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honorarium of Lee to   Byars Cobb United Methodist Church, Glades Springs, VA.
