HENRY "SONNY" MILTON LEEDY

Henry "Sonny" Milton Leedy, 94, of Bluefield, VA, passed away on Friday, August 07, 2026, at his residence.  He was born June 5, 1932, to Joseph and Alberta Leedy.  He was the devoted husband of Louise Tibbs Leedy for 76 years.  A Jack of All Trades, he excelled in many areas such as builder and electrician.  He was a faithful member of East River Church.  As a retiree of General Telephone and Verizon, he worked for the companies for over 40 years.  He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of Bluefield, VA.  He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 children, Ronald Leedy and Sharon Calfee

He is survived by his wife: Louise; one son: Wayne (Diane) Leedy of Lexington, KY; grandchildren: Andrew Leedy, Lindsay Leedy, Preston Calfee, Michelle Calfee and Kim Brooks; 7 great-grandchildren; 8 great great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank close friends Stella and Tommy Lively for all their help and concern.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kathy Hagerman officiating.  Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Tim Boyd, Tommy Lively, Lynn Sesco, Larry Compton and Merle Mitchell.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bluefield Union Mission.
