HELEN MARIE COMPTON

Helen Marie Compton, 77 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 at her home.  Born in Montcalm, WV, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Myrtle Fay Baker Dyson. She was a graduate of Montcalm High School.  While in school, she was the Captain of the Cheerleading Squad and won dancing contests.  She and her family attended a church in the Montcalm area. She and her husband owned and operated a local Electrical/HVAC company, of which she was the office manager.  She also enjoyed traveling.

Her husband, Jimmie Compton of Bluefield, VA survives her; and additional family members and friends also survive her.

A crypt-side service for Helen will be held at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel on Saturday November 4 2023 at 1;00 PM, with Rev. James Bassett.
