Harold Curtis Toney
April 5, 1979 - February 5, 2026
Harold Curtis Toney of Coeburn Virginia passed away Thursday February 5, 2026, at Norton community hospital in Norton Virginia after a recently diagnosed heart condition. Harold enjoyed spending time at his family's homestead in Valls Creek WV where he was born and raised. He is proceeded in death by his parents Clyde (Wan) and Dorothy Toney, his maternal grandparents Leedoyle and Virginia Ruleman, his paternal grandparents Dillard and Athelene Toney. Those left to cherish his memory are his children Kurt Toney, Lyric Smith and Brock Billips, sister Nina Burks, brother C.W. (Sandy) Toney, uncle Kenneth (Ken) Toney, Aunt Mildred Robinette, several nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends
A memorial service will be held Thursday February 12, 2026 at Dudley Memorial Mortuary in Bluefield Va. at 11:00am. Pallbearers will be Marcus Stevenson, Justin Stevenson, Kenny Toney, Eddie Nunley, Kevin Bradley and Christian Anderson.  Honorary Pallbearer is Keith Nunley.
Family will receive friends from 10:00am-11:00am prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hartwell Cemetery in Hartwell WV.
