GLENN EDWARD RUBLE

Glenn Edward Ruble, 86, of Bluefield, WV, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital.  Born in Bluefield, VA, he was the son of the late Calvin and Louise Burkett Ruble.  He had served his country in the United States Army.  Glenn was an avid hunter and a cancer survivor. He worked for Cloverdew Dairy and Flowers Bakery.  Glenn was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose since 1977 and was recently awarded the Pilgrim Degree of Merit. He was also a member of the Elks and   Eagles.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Jean Patteson, Darlene Lambert, Margie Rowland, Clayton Ruble, Robert Ruble and William Ruble.

He will be lovingly missed by his wife of more than 60 years: Phyllis Ruble of Bluefield, WV; son: Eddie Ruble and Ellen of NC; granddaughter: Allison R. Lyles and husband, JD of NC; step-granddaughter: Megan Hargrave and husband, Dylan of NC; great-grandson: Jameson Lyles; step-great-granddaughter: Kaylin Hargrave; brother: Preston Ruble of WV; special nephew: Michael Shrader; special friend: Randall Lewis; an extended family of in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Glenn's life will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Grandview Memory Mausoleum Chapel with members of the Loyal Order of Moose and members of the Honor Guard as officiants. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel on Tuesday morning by 10:45 A.M.  Pallbearers will be Eddie Ruble, Michael Shrader, Randall Lewis, Kenny Simmons, Mark Miller and Barry Woods.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday evening,  November 22, 2021 at Dudley Memorial from 5:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M.
