GLENN ALDERSON KITTS

Glenn Alderson Kitts, 86 of Tazewell, VA, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018. Born in Bluefield, VA, he was the son of the late Ira Dunn and Trucee McFarland Kitts.  He was a lifelong resident of Bluefield, VA and had served as a volunteer Fire Fighter for over 50 years.  He enjoyed gardening and working at the food bank.  He retired from Jones Candy Company after 50 years of service.  He was a member of the Faith Assembly Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vertice Arnold Kitts; siblings: Garland, Nathan and Elmer Kitts and Samantha Gremore; daughter: Robin Kitts; granddaughter: Cynthia Lynn Kitts.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Glenn Kitts (Connie), Nancy Kitts, Teresa Hill (Claude) all of Bluefield, VA, Ernest Kitts of Marion, VA; siblings: Ira Kitts, Herbert Kitts (Clara) all of Florida and Claudette Stafford of Oakridge, TN; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Mr. Kitt's life will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Brenda Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Dudley Memorial from 5-7 P.M.
