GEORGIA FRANCES NEEL DURHAM

Georgia Frances Neel Durham, 90 of Bluefield, VA, went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 23, 2020. Born in Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Newton and Lena Marie Bennett Neel. Georgia was a member of Wright's Valley United Methodist Church for over 50 years, serving in various ministries of the church. She taught Sunday School and was strong in her faith and very knowledgeable of the Bible. She was part owner of R and K Fishing Supplies. She enjoyed crafting, needlepoint, crocheting and plastic canvas. Georgia loved her family passionately. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lincoln Durham; siblings: Edith Blankenship, Fred Neel and Eddie Neel; half-siblings: Forest Neel, Larue N. Fox, Virginia N. Yost, Rayborn Neel, Addie N. Lawson, William N. Neel, Jr and Glady N. Gregory.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son: David Keith Durham of Bluefield, VA; her sister: Mary Stowers of Bluefield, WV; numerous nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Georgia's life will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Dudley Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Pastors Johnny Blessing and Sue Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Michael Neel, John Johnson, Kenny French, Ronnie Harless, Bryan French and Kenny (Huff) French will serve as pallbearers. David Inscore will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at Dudley Memorial from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
