In Loving Memory of
Frances Eugenia Green (Lyons)
Frances Eugenia Green, 68, of Bluefield, Virginia, originally from Brenton, WV, went to be with the Lord on April 17, 2026, after a lifetime shaped by love, faith, and devotion to her family.
Frances was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud granny. She loved the Lord deeply, and her quiet strength helped her weather both bright and stormy days. She always made sure her family came first, loving them fiercely and with her whole heart.
Frances had a knack for creativity. She delighted in making wreaths and thoughtful handmade gifts, sharing a piece of herself with everyone she cared about. Food was her way of bringing people together. She loved cooking meals and baking cakes for friends and family. She once owned a small restaurant and later catered, becoming part of many cherished moments by creating meals and wedding cakes that became memories in themselves.
Even when life brought difficult challenges, especially in her later years, Frances carried on with remarkable strength. Through it all, her husband of 48 years, Eddie, was always there, caring for her and standing faithfully by her side.
Loving her family was Frances's greatest gift. She made each grandchild feel special with their own nickname and never ended a phone call without saying "kisses." Her favorite words, "I love you to the moon and back," will echo forever in the hearts of her loved ones. It was the little things she did, those everyday gestures—that made her family feel deeply cherished.
Frances is survived by her husband, Charles E. Green Jr. (Eddie) ; her daughters, Crystal Seay and her husband Andy Seay of Bluefield, WV, and Jessica Parker and her husband, Shelton Parker Jr of New Port Richey, FL .; and her treasured grandchildren, Zoey Green, Chase Burks, Tristan Parker, Troy Parker, and Trinitee Parker. She is also survived by her siblings, Patricia Green and Delfred Lyons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harmie D. and Ruby Toler Lyons, and her sisters, Kathy Morgan of Sunhill, WV and Phyllis Miller of Brenton, WV.
Frances will be remembered for the love she shared, the strength she showed, and the mark she left on her family. Her memory lives on in every "kisses," each meal shared, and all the love that will continue through generations.
There will be no public service at this time. The family will celebrate her life privately at a later date.
