FLORENCE LOUISE RUBLE
Florence Louise Ruble, 102 of Bluefield, WV, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, January 1, 2016. Born in West Graham, she was the daughter of the late Martin Luther and Carria Lee Burkett. She liked working puzzle books, crocheting and knitting. Mrs. Ruble was the oldest member of the First Nazarene Church, Bluefield, where she had served as church secretary for many years. She loved reading and memorizing the Bible and singing hymns. She was the last surviving member of her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Clayton Ruble; daughters: Darlene Lambert, Jean Patteson, Margie Roland and son: Clayton Ruble; 2 great-grandchildren.
She will be affectionately and lovingly remembered by her son: Glenn Ruble and wife, Phyllis of Brushfork, WV, Preston Ruble of Bluefield, WV, Robert Ruble and wife, Linda of Roanoke Rapids, NC, William Ruble of Bluefield, WV; 17 Grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren ; 9 great great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Mrs. Ruble's life will be held Monday, January 4, 2016 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Gary Jakes officiating. There will be no public visitation. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at Grandview Chapel on Monday by 1:45 p.m.
Dudley Memorial is serving the Ruble family.
