EVELYN MARLENE SHREWSBURY

Evelyn Marlene Shrewsbury, 74 of White Sulphur Springs, WV and formerly of Bluefield, WV, passed away Tuesday, April 07, 2020. Born in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late William Bales and Eva Helton Bales Johnson. She enjoyed crafting, dancing, singing and working in her flower garden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Dorothy Bales, Betty Roark and Sandra Smith.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter: Tammy Greenwood of Honaker, VA; her son: William Shrewsbury and his fiancé, Angela Denton (of Radford, VA) and her children, Rebecca Byrd and Kimberly West; sister: Donna Foran of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren: Jason Shrewsbury and Amanda Murphy; great-grandchildren: McKenna, Emma, Joel and Gabe.

Due to the current state and local restrictions concerning the Corona Virus, the family will have a private service for Evelyn officiated by Rev. Doug McDaniel. She will be laid to rest at Grandview Memory Gardens.
