ETHEL HORNE FOX

Ethel Horne Fox, affectionately know to all as "Granny", 93 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Westwood Nursing Home.

Born in Bradshaw, WV she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lilly Wimmer Horne. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and attended until her health would not allow her to do so. She enjoyed gardening and flowering. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: George Wesley Fox; grandson: David McFarland; 7 brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Jackie Hawkins and husband, John of Bluefield, VA, Brenda Smith of Sumter, SC and G.W. Fox, Jr and Charlotte of Bluefield, WV; sister: Melvina Dukes of Delaware; granddaughter: Ana Fox of Blacksburg, VA; great-grandson: David McFarland of Savannah, GA; special nieces and nephew: Barbara Bowen, Susie Payne and Eugene Jones as well as many other nieces and nephews; fur baby: Molly.

The family will have a private service to celebrate Ethel's life with Pastor Jim Drake officiating. She will be laid to rest at Grandview Memory Gardens.
