ERNEST MIKE WHITAKER

Ernest Mike Whitaker, 66, of Cedar Bluff, VA, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA after a brief illness.  He was born June 11, 1959 to the late Ernest and Annie Dalyai Whitaker of Newhall, WV.  Mike retired from Philip Morris in Richmond, VA.  He loved to cook and enjoyed being outside barbecuing.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three sons:  Michael Whitaker, Brian Whitaker and wife, Emily and Brandon Whitaker; five grandchildren: William, Karen, Jocelyn, Mason and Samantha; one sister: Mary of Tazewell, VA; special friend: Patty of Pounding Mill, VA; two special nieces: Chelsea and Miranda; his special little grand dog: Gracie; a host of friends.

Due to pending weather and scheduling conflict, the memorial service planned for Mike has been postponed to a later date to be announced.
