EDGAR HOGE FIELDS
Edgar Hoge Fields, 80 of Bluefield, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2015. Born in Bluefield, VA, he was the son of the late James Early and Ruby Pearl Farley Fields. Mr. Fields was a member of Graham Christian Church for over 35 years, where he had served as an Elder. He enjoyed fishing and loved to read. Ace and Jake were his "fur babies" who he loved dearly and was concerned about their care. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Fields.
He will be lovingly and affectionately remembered by his beloved wife, of 59 years, Pat Yost Fields; son: Keith Fields and wife, Sara of Bluefield, VA; daughters: Debbie Shrader and husband, Eddie of Rocky Gap, VA and Karen Pearcy of Brushfork, WV; brothers: Jerry Fields and wife, Ruth of Chesterfield, VA; sister: Ginger Justice and husband, Steve of Claypool Hill, VA; grandchildren: Sommer, Conner, Codi and Allen Fields, Cindy Angles, Daniel, Jennifer and Heather Pearcy; 4 great-grandchildren
A service to celebrate Mr. Fields' life will be held Monday, October 26, 2015 at Graham Christian Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Lyons officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
