DOUGLAS "BEAR" DELANO JUBA

Douglas "Bear" Delano Juba, 69 of Bluefield, WV, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023.  Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary Maxine Lewis Juba.  He had retired from Bluefield Beverage Company after many years of service. He was an avid Oakland Raiders Football fan and had hours of enjoyment with Hamm Radio.  Choosing to be an organ donor was his final gift of helping others. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Pamela Shrader Juba.

"Bear" will be lovingly missed by his sisters: Scarlett Thompson and husband, Kenny of Princeton, WV and Gail Sturtevant of Lorain, OH; son: Michael Shrader Juba and his family of Bluefield, WV; nieces and nephews: Danielle Riffe, Courtney Riffe, Kimberly Swim, Andrew Swim and Shane Swim; great-niece: Joycelyn Swim.

The family would like to thank Mercer Nursing and Rehabilitation for their care and concern for the past few years.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
