DORN IVAN SHRADER
Dorn Ivan Shrader, 98 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born in Bluefield, VA, he was the son of the late Samuel Homer and Virginia Wilburn Shrader. He had served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He was a life time member of the NRA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Nellie Yopp Shrader and his 10 siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son: Don Shrader of Bluefield, VA; Bill Christian, who was like a son to him, and his wife, Lynn of Tip Top, VA; other special family: Debbie Gibson and husband, Eddie of Bluefield, VA and Henry Christian and wife, Carrie of North Tazewell, VA; brothers: Billy Shrader of Ohio and Danny Shrader of Atlanta, GA.
A service to celebrate Mr. Shrader's life will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Jim Horn officiating. Military grave rites will be conducted by the Tazewell VFW Post 7136. Pallbearers will be Bill Christian, Henry Christian, Eddie Gibson, Herman Shrader, Jerry Shrader and James Welch. There will be no public visitation. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel, Tuesday by 10:45 a.m.
