DELORES DESKINS ROLEN SCOTT
Delores Deskins Rolen Scott, 86 of Shady Spring, WV and formerly of Bluefield, VA, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at her home. Born in Indianola, PA, she was the daughter of the late William C and Geraldean Henderson Deskins. She was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church in Shady Spring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: Ray Rolen and 2 sisters: Nocha Marie Deskins and Edna Elizabeth Deskins.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband: Rev. Jack Scott of Shady Spring, WV; sons: Darell Rolen and wife, Grace of Bluefield, VA and Timothy Rolen and companion, Kathy Perry of Bluefield, VA; brother: James Deskins of CA; sisters: Katherine Willford of Montgomery, AL and Dorothy Evans of Norfolk, VA; grandsons: T.J. Rolen and fiancé, Audra Holt of Bluefield, VA and Jesse Rolen and wife, Jacqueline of Zuni, VA; great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Rolen of Bluefield, VA, Trinity and Zoe Rolen of Zuni, VA.
A service to celebrate Delores' life will be Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Don Kelly officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Jesse Rolen, T.J. Rolen, Steve Hamm, Mike Cole, Tony Graham and Kenney Murphy will serve as pallbearers. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Dudley Memorial from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
