DEANNA D. NEECE FOX

Deanna D. Neece Fox, 83, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 22, 2024, with her loved ones by her side, following a brief illness. She was born in Hensley, WV and was the daughter of the late Dorsie D. Neece and Lydia Eliza Holbrook Neece. Deanna was an avid reader and enjoyed being in the outdoors.  She loved gardening and it was known that she had a "green thumb".  Most of all she was passionate in her devotion and affection for her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Jim Neel Fox.

She will be lovingly missed by her brother: James Calvin Neece of Johnson City, TN; her sister: Madge Bailey of North Tazewell, VA; two sons and daughters-in-law: James William and Tracy Fox of Harvey, AK and Michael David and Donna Fox of Princeton, WV; two daughters and sons-in-law: Diana Lynn Fox and Joe Doss of Wytheville, VA and Brenda Kay and Jack Thompson of Bastian, VA; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Deanna's life will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor J.R. Gilman officiating.  Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
