DAVID DANIEL HONAKER

David Daniel Honaker, 63 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 after a brief illness.  Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Fay Howard Honaker and Lorena Alice Mayberry Honaker.  He loved working on cars.  David was kind hearted and was always willing to help family members and others in need.  He had a passion for his dogs, who were his children.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Lee Honaker and an infant sister, Linda Sue Honaker.

He will be lovingly missed by his siblings: Susan Osborne and husband, Billie of Bluefield, WV, Melody "Chris" Shrader and husband, Jerry Jr. of Bluefield, VA and Cathy Bradley and husband, Jerry of Athens, WV; nieces and nephews: Steve, Shannon and Jody Osborne, Jennifer Miller, Crystal, JJ, Matthew and Christopher Shrader and Jacob Bradley; special great-nieces: Maddie, Peyton, Paislee and Lilyan; special great-nephew: Mayson; Jamie Hounshell, of Bluefield, WV, who was like a son to him; and other family members and friends in his extended family.

In honoring David's wishes, his body will be cremated.  The family is planning a memorial service which will be posted as soon as the details are finalized.

The family would like to thank the Nurses and Doctors at Carillion Tazewell Hospital for their care and concern during this time.
