DAVID "BUTCH" FRED SHRADER

David "Butch" Fred Shrader, 79 of Bluefield, VA, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020. Born in Bramwell, WV, he was the son of the late Ernest Fred and Velma Faye Cline Shrader. He had served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church, was a gun trader and loved to hunt and fish. David loved his family and was always interested and involved in their lives.

He will be lovingly and affectionately missed by his wife of 27 years: Shirley Mayo Shrader; his sons: David Shrader and wife, Vicki of Rock Hill, SC and Joseph Shrader and wife, Kelly of Albany, GA; grandchildren: Justin Shrader, Zachary Shrader, Levi Shrader, Logan Shrader and Chloe Kulakowski; step-children: Chris Bowman, Jeff Bowman, Montell Bowman, Jackie Dawson and Angela Poole; a host of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate David's life will be held Wednesday, September 09, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Dudley Memorial with Pastor Jim Drake officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of the service.
